Fiordland Wedding
Melissa and Megan traveled all the way from the UK to New Zealand for their helicopter wedding adventure. Initially, the weather forecast for their special day predicted strong winds and rain. However, they decided to reschedule the event to the day before, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. They were blessed with a beautiful, warm summer day with clear blue skies.
Their adventure began with a scenic flight that took them past the stunning Lake Erskine, offering breathtaking views of the New Zealand landscape. Then, they continued to Lake Quill in Fiordland, where they had their wedding ceremony. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the area, they exchanged their vows and celebrated their love.
After the ceremony, they enjoyed some champagne and even had a visit from the native Kea parrots of New Zealand, adding a touch of local wildlife to their day. Their helicopter journey continued as they headed towards Milford Sound, where they landed on the coast by the ocean, taking in the dramatic coastal scenery.
Their adventure reached new heights as we flew up to 8000 feet and reached the majestic Tutako glacier. Here, they had the opportunity to capture some breathtaking photos in the pristine snow.
Finally, the day finished at the magical Earnslaw Burn, surrounded by numerous cascading waterfalls, adding a touch of magic and romance to their already unforgettable wedding adventure.
