Coromandel Peak & Lochnagar Wedding | Queenstown
Karen and Daniel came over from Australia for their wedding with two friends. Karen was Irish and Daniel from the UK. They had a terrible forecast for their wedding day with strong wind warnings, rain and thunder! It was raining hard in the morning but when it was time to meet up with the helicopter the rain stopped and sun started to come out.
They stayed here in Queenstown so we flew to Coromandel Peak in Wanaka for the ceremony and it was a almost perfect! a bit of wind but we found a sheltered spot for the ceremony and photos before getting on the helicopter again to fly towards Isobel Glacier however the clouds were low and the wind cold so we changed our plan and landed at Lochnagar a beautiful alpine lake high up in the mountains. A great place with amazing scenery. We ended the day with some photos at Shotover River and in true Irish style with a Guinness at Pog Mahones in Queenstown
