ABOUT THE BOAT - THE FIORDLAND JEWEL

The Fiordland Jewel is a purpose-built 24-metre, three-deck luxury catamaran, thoughtfully designed to deliver an exceptional boutique cruising experience through some of New Zealand’s most remote and dramatic waterways. Designed and built by Fiordland Discovery owner and skipper Rob Swale, the vessel has been crafted specifically for Fiordland conditions, offering comfort, stability, and access to places few vessels can reach.

Operating throughout Milford Sound, the Northern and Southern Fiords of Fiordland National Park, and Stewart Island, the Fiordland Jewel offers an immersive way to explore this wild region while enjoying refined onboard comfort. Each journey is unhurried and deeply connected to the landscape, allowing guests to experience Fiordland at a slower, more meaningful pace.

Cabin Information

The Fiordland Jewel features nine climate-controlled cabins, each with its own private ensuite bathroom and sea views. On overnight Milford Sound cruises, the vessel accommodates up to 22 guests, while private charters and scenic expeditions are limited to a maximum of 18 guests, ensuring an intimate and relaxed onboard atmosphere.

Positioned at the very top of the vessel for ultimate privacy, this premium cabin features a full-width forward window and expansive side windows. It includes a Super-King bed and a spacious ensuite with a separate shower and toilet.

Located on the main deck with sea views, these cabins feature Super-King beds and private ensuites with separate showers and toilets.
