Fiordland Wedding
Olivia & Luis came over from USA for their Heli Wedding here in Queenstown. They stayed at The Hilton and we did a First Look on the deck before heading to the nearby hangar to meet our pilot and celebrant.
It was a beautiful day and our first part of the day took us on a 20min flight to the beautiful Lake Erskine for the wedding ceremony. A perfect Blue Lake on top of a mountain with small glaciers in the back. After the ceremony and some bubbles and photos we flew towards Milford Sounds in Fiordland. We passed Sutherland Falls a massive waterfall that comes out of Lake Quill. We made our way out through Milford Sounds beautiful fiord and headed north along the coast and landed on Madagascar beach for some photos with the crashing waves in the background. Next stop was Big Geordie, a beautiful spot with long views up the lake. Last stop of the day was a old gold mining hut for a wedding picnic in the sun
