Its stunning colours and peaceful isolation make it the perfect spot for an intimate ceremony and unforgettable photos.

Earnslaw Burn

The Earnslaw Burn is a breathtaking valley that rises toward Mt Earnslaw (Pikirakatahi), renowned for its cascading waterfalls and dramatic glacial views. The peak towers at nearly 9,249 ft, creating an unforgettable alpine backdrop. While this is not a private location and can be popular with other helicopters, there are numerous landing sites throughout the valley. This allows us to choose a more secluded area for your ceremony so you can enjoy a sense of privacy while still experiencing the magic of this iconic landscape.

Coromandel Peak

Mt Roy / Coromandel Peak is a spectacular privately owned mountain with those iconic long-lake views couples love. Because it requires a booked time slot, flexibility can be limited, but if we can’t fly here, we have many equally stunning locations with a similar backdrop. While it's extremely popular and can be a little muddy in winter and spring, we always work carefully to capture the most stunning angles and ensure you still enjoy an unforgettable wedding experience with incredible photos.

Lake Erskine

Lake Erskine is a remarkable blue alpine lake within Fiordland National Park. Its crystal-clear water flows over the edge into an incredible waterfall, making it a truly unforgettable place to visit. This site has only two landing options and cannot be reserved, so there is a possibility of other helicopters being present. However, we always do our best to find a private spot and if needed, we can fly to nearby lakes with a similar alpine feel to ensure a private ceremony location.

You can keep things simple with one landing, or add an extra stop to capture photos against a different backdrop. This also enhances your experience — New Zealand is one of the few places in the world where you can fly from an alpine lake to a beach or a glacier all in the same day. We’re happy to create a custom quote based on the locations you love most and the experience you’d like to enjoy here in New Zealand.
