Winter Wedding
Alicia and Geraldine came to us for their Heli Wedding adventure in the breathtaking mountains of Queenstown, New Zealand. This time of year, the weather in Queenstown can be quite unpredictable, swinging between warm and sunny days to fierce blizzards. Fortunately for them, they experienced a unique blend of conditions—a gentle snowfall without wind, and temperatures that were not excessively cold.
Due to low clouds, their original plan of landing in specific locations had to be adjusted. We decided to proceed with plan B, which involved a landing at Lake Isobel—a picturesque spot featuring an almost frozen lake. It is a stunning backdrop and with just the right amount of snow. From there, we did a short flight to Cecil Peak for their wedding ceremony
The day finished with a bottle of bubbles down by the lakefront and then a romantic dinner
Their Heli Wedding may not have gone exactly as planned, but it turned out to be a unique and magical experience, filled with the beauty of nature and the warmth of their love.
